This time around the distillery is rededicating their effort to support and honor women with a ten year-old blended malt from master Blender Emma Walker that emphasizes Cardhu Single Malt at its core. And that makes sense because Cardhu — perhaps more than any other distillery in Scotland — was shaped under the influence of two women. Helen Cumming sold their bootleg Whisky from the window of their farmhouse when it started and Elizabeth Cumming rebuilt the distillery in 1885 when it was ramped up into full production.
